At Renters Warehouse, we believe in working together to keep your home in great shape. While we take care of the bigger maintenance issues, there are some responsibilities that fall to you as the resident. Together, we’ll ensure your home remains a comfortable and well-maintained space.

Routine Cleaning
Keeping the interior of the home clean and free from excessive dirt or debris.
Yard Maintenance
Mowing the lawn, trimming bushes, and maintaining any gardens, as specified in the lease.
Minor Repairs
Handling minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, replacing batteries in smoke detectors, and unclogging drains.
Preventive Care
Taking care of preventive maintenance tasks, like regularly changing air filters if applicable.
Reporting Issues
Notifying the owner promptly about any maintenance issues or repairs needed, including plumbing leaks, appliance malfunctions, or HVAC problems.
Pest Control
Managing minor pest issues (like ants or small insects) and notifying the owner of significant infestations.
Property Modifications
Not making significant alterations (like painting or remodeling) without prior written consent from the owner.
Major Repairs
Handling significant repairs and maintenance tasks, including roof repairs, structural issues, and major appliance failures.
Safety Compliance
Ensuring the home meets safety standards, including functioning smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and necessary safety features.
Yard Care
Taking responsibility for any landscaping or yard maintenance specified in the lease if it is not assigned to the resident.
Utilities Maintenance
Ensuring all major systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) are in good working order and performing any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Emergency Repairs
Addressing urgent issues quickly, such as water leaks, heating failures in winter, or electrical problems that pose safety risks.
Regular Inspections
Conducting regular property inspections (with proper notice) to identify maintenance needs and ensure the home is in good condition.
Seasonal Maintenance
Managing seasonal tasks, such as winterizing the home or servicing the HVAC system.
